About ECOS and Our Technology Platform

We are an engineering and technology group based in the Czech Republic, developing the ECOS (Economical Composite Optimized System) — an innovative approach to next-generation construction mixtures.

Our team has over three years of experience in scientific research and practical testing conducted in Ukraine. We carried out dozens of experimental batches, developed formulas using mineral and industrial additives, and studied the impact of alkaline activators and chemical agents on the strength characteristics of mixtures with minimal cement content.

As part of our pilot production, we developed and tested various types of dry construction mixtures: masonry, plaster, and base repair compounds. The core principles were confirmed for creating strong and stable material with less than 4% cement content, and even without cement — by using appropriate activators.

Today, building on our accumulated experience and scientific foundation, we are creating a European ECOS platform that complies with ČSN, CPR, ESPR, and green building standards. Our solutions meet current requirements for carbon footprint, reusability, and eligibility for EU green public programs.

We do not disclose formulations or commercially sensitive data, but we are open to cooperation with technology labs, research institutions, and responsible developers for testing, validation, and co-development of solutions.

Project ECOS

Strategic Goals

Mission:
ECOS offers an innovative solution for the construction industry by combining carbon footprint reduction with the principles of the circular economy. The project holds strategic importance for the European Union, society, and the business sector.

Competitive Advantage:
ECOS addresses not only the challenge of CO₂ emissions but also the issue of industrial waste, providing a sustainable and cost-efficient alternative to traditional cement technologies and costly CCS solutions.

1. Climate Goals: Decarbonization Through Substitution

The objectives focus on direct CO₂ reduction through material substitution and process optimization.

Goal Rationale for the EU and Society
–50% Clinker By 2030, reduce clinker use in construction mixtures by at least 50% across key markets (with an ECOS market share of 15%).
10 Mt of CO₂ in Czechia Prevent 10 million tons of CO₂ emissions within 10 years by substituting conventional cement-based mixtures.
Carbon Accessibility Achieve an 80% reduction in the carbon footprint without increasing the final cost by more than 5% within the next five years.

2. Circular Economy Goals: Waste Utilization

ECOS converts industrial waste into a valuable resource, supporting the environmental priorities of the European Union.

Goal Rationale for the EU and Society
50% Secondary Raw Materials By 2028, ensure that at least 50% of ECOS composition in Europe comes from secondary industrial raw materials such as fly ash, slag, and mineral residues.
Zero Coal Energy Waste Establish a stable channel for full utilization of fly ash within a 500 km radius of ECOS production facilities.
EPD Leadership Become one of the first producers with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) demonstrating Embodied Carbon A1–A3 below 50 kg CO₂ eq/t.

3. Socio-Economic Goals: Growth and Sustainability

Fostering SME resilience, affordable housing, and long-term energy stability.

Goal Rationale for the EU and Society
SME Resilience Support 1,000 small and medium-sized construction companies across Central Europe in reducing environmental reporting costs through the adoption of ECOS by 2027.
Affordable Housing Reduce material costs by up to 5% for affordable housing projects (masonry and plaster) in the Czech market.
Innovative Partnerships By 2026, form 3–5 strategic partnerships with European energy companies to ensure long-term fly ash supply and reduce dependency on imported clinker.

ECOS evolves in line with the European Union’s climate and economic priorities, contributing to the transition toward a circular economy and strengthening social sustainability.

What is ECOS?

ECOS (Economical Composite Optimized System) is a technological approach to producing next-generation dry construction mixes, based on minimizing cement content, utilizing mineral and industrial additives, and applying alkaline activators.

Unlike traditional cement-based mortars, ECOS mixtures offer environmental sustainability, a low carbon footprint, and high cost-efficiency through resource savings. Their formulation is carefully optimized at the level of materials, granularity, reagents, and water-to-solid ratio.

ECOS mixes can be used for masonry, plastering, repairs, substrate leveling, and in the future — as a basis for concretes with specific properties.

The product is manufactured at normal temperatures without firing, making it energy-efficient and fully aligned with ESG goals and the principles of circular economy.

We do not disclose the internal ECOS formulation but provide complete technical specifications, lab reports, and demo samples for interested partners.

Advantages of ECOS Technology

🔬 Scientifically Proven

ECOS technology is based on years of research conducted in Ukraine. Dozens of formulations were tested, and our own optimization methodology was developed.

🌍 Eco-Friendly

Cement-free or low-cement formulations significantly reduce CO₂ emissions. The system supports circular economy and ESG-oriented construction.

💰 Cost Efficiency

Reducing cement content and using optimized additives allows for up to 50–70% cost savings compared to traditional mixes.

📄 EU Compliance

ECOS already aligns with the requirements of CPR, ESPR, and GPP regulations — giving an edge in certification, public tenders, and future carbon reporting.

📦 Logistics Friendly

The product is packed in 25 kg bags, requires no special storage conditions, and can be delivered to any EU region.

🔒 Know-How Protection

All formulations are protected as trade secrets. We only disclose final product specifications and performance parameters.

🏭 Production and Technological Process

ECOS dry construction mixes are manufactured using precise component dosing and thorough mixing on specialized equipment. The production process is designed with a focus on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency — without high-temperature firing, unlike traditional cement production.

The technology is based on the principles of circular economy, ESG, and low carbon footprint, allowing its use within the framework of new EU regulations — CPR, ESPR, GPP.
